[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today would have been my dad's 65th birthday. Even though it's a dark and sad day, represented by the shadowed headstones at the bottom of the photo, the fond memories bring light and warmth represented by the illuminated leaves above.

It's Friday! I hope it's a good one for you.

Hi Dennis,
A very nice tribute to your dad. It is so difficult to lose someone close- but it's the memories that keep us going and strong. A nice job on backlighting and well done on your composition/framing. TFS and have a good Friday. Julie

Hi Dennis,

This is quite a dramatic shot, with the sunlight nicely backlighting the red tree. I know that the pain of your father's loss is still fresh, but as the years pass you will remember his birthday in a different light.

TGIF my friend.

Werner

Hello Dennis,

A warm "Happy Birthday" to your father!
This beautiful picture, with some excellent details and colors.
Regards,
Adrian

Dennis, I'm 65 and happy to be alive. I'm sure your father was a wonderful person to receive such a nice write, photo, and tribute to him from his son. I love the backlighting, red colors and autumn look of this photograph. What I would have liked to have seen much more visible is the grave site at the base of the photo. If you had not made a note of it I would not have paid attention to the head stones. How could you go about producing such a photo? Try different lighting, morning, late morning, and mid afternoon. I'm sure your father is grateful and happy that you memoralized him.
