Lately, I have developed a fascination for water droplets. In some drops, if you look closely, you can see the world reflected upside down, as seen in this photo of drops on the surface of a leaf, just moments after a rainstorm moved through the area.
This photo was taken at Summit Lake State Park.
Post processing: Crop, curves adjustment, color balance adjustment, slight sharpening. |

A fellow Midwesterner! This is a very good macro, I love the clarity and the 'globe'. Nice shot!

Hello Randy,
Fantastik graphic composition, makes me think of a small drop and her big brother ... I cannot believe these drops are so round ! Nice colors, maybe some noise in the bg but not a big deal.
Have a nice day, Michel

Bravo Randy, belle composition. Cette goutte d'eau semble bien installé. Cette eau qui peut sembler si minuscule et qui peut être si dévastatrice. Gilles
Hello Randy,
What a perfect gem; with an offspring on top of that! It's lovely. I'd like one of those on a necklace.
Thanks for sharing,
