[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This dove was released at my father's funeral symbolizing the release of his spirit. It was a beautiful ceremony. I could not have created this photo without the help of some wonderful people on this site. Thank you so much Rew. It's not a great shot like many of you would have done, but it's a start for me. Thanks again!

It's not a bad shot either - and very poignant given the occasion. I'm sorry about your father's passing.

I think you've used space very well here, there is a great sense of the freedom to which you refer. The only negative perhaps is the overexposed tail of the dove, but with post work that could easily be fixed.

I'm honoured by the mention in your note, by the way. Thank you.

The dove is such a beautiful symbol, representing freedom, peace and liberation, a bird that represents well your loss.

Please accept my deepeset condolances on the loss of your Dad.

I think you did really well with this shot,certainly conveying the moment and yes there are a few little glitches but nothing that cannot be fixed with pp.
