[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At the funeral of a honorably discharged veteran, a military ceremony is performed. My father was proud to be a Marine, and served in the Vietnam War. He would not speak of his experience in battle; it was a difficult time. At the end of the ceremony, the flag is presented to the wife of the deceased. It was a proud, but sad moment for her. Thank you so much for all your kind words! Again, I could not have created this photo without the help of my TL friends, especially Rew.

Hi Dennis,

Another moving photo, you've done really well with this. Everyone in the US owes thanks to our men and women in the armed services, past and present. Your dad probably wasn't too much older than me. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Best regards,
Werner

Hi Dennis,
I live within walking distance of the Arlington Cemetery, and I often see this kind military ceremony honoring war heroes. It is a pity though that picture taking is not allowed during ceremony at Arlington Cemetery. And that is why I am curiously admiring this posting. Superb isolation of the flag folding. I can almost hear the melancholy sound of military trumpets. Fine colors and good sharpness.

Hi Dennis,

The folding of the flag, moving a momment in the United States.
What is desired or even less often and a Marine.
It is sad your composition and captivating at the same time.
A beautiful presentation at any event of everyday life.
Good day.
John

This is a very well composed and well balanced.
Good exposure, good black, well controled highlights, with a smooth separation of tones.

I really like the "feel" of this image, that speaks on it own. Excellent shot. Portefolio stuff.
