ANY GOLFERS IN TL Land?
I took this shot last night. As you can see it was not taken on a speed setting. I did this to show a good swing.
The body is still, with weight shifted to the left side.
The head is still and down through the ball.
The arms are close to the body.
The movement is in the club and the ball moved a long way too. |

Hello Dennis,
I somehow like this picture: it conveys a kind of Andy Warhol atmosphere - the crisp colours, the clear compositional patterns.
The rather centered position of the golf player and the combination of blurred and sharp elements reinforce that atmosphere.
Interesting work.
TFS & kind regards,
Erik

Hi Dennis,
Good to see a golf shot on TL, I am afraid there are not many golfers with cameras (I get fed up looking at flowers and insects everyday)
It is indeed a good swing, comparing it to a professionals the hips would have rotated a little further towards the target but everything else looks good. I have tried unsuccessfully to take a close up golf shot at impact - must try again.
With regard to the photo the greens look at little too saturated.
cheers
Jack
Hi Dennis,
Excellent Green colors and action shot,
nice composition and point of view,
picture very well taken.
and done.
My compliments
Michel
Dennis, Yes I'm a golfer. Beautiful landscape on the golf course even though the green is quite saturated, but that's what makes the photo. It's important that the ball went a long way with this iron out of the rough, but did it hit the green close to the pin? Only one small criticism of the swing. The left arm and wrist are not quite through the ball yet. But then if the ball went a long way, what the hell? I really like the overall shot, quite refreshing. Yay for you! That spurns me to search my archives for some golfing shots. Which I will do.
