[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another Lily from my green house visit. The pads were very colorful, unlike what I have in my pond. Does anyone know what kind of lilypad these are?

It's a beautiful day in Indy today. I hope it's a good one where you are.

Hi Dennis,

This is just awesome shot, my friend! I am a great admirer of waterlilies and also captured some recently in Bonn.

Your capture looks very elegant with great harmony of colors. the focus on the lily is perfect, bringing all its beautiful colors at their best, with great sharpness and from a nice POV. I like the DOF in the shot. The green leaves gives great contrast to this bright purple colored flower.

Simply a well done shot!

This is a very sharp and artistic shot!
You made great use of shallow DOF - the beautiful lily is in sharp focusing while the red leaf is complimenting the flower in slight blurness!
Lighting is superb and you succeeded to play with shades and shadows!
Great presentation, my friend, you've got great skills in photography, that's art you're presenting! Keep it up!
