[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This little log is stuck in a rut; he must feel like it's Wednesday. By the end of the day he will probably be inching just a little closer to the edge of the running water anticipating freedom to play in the water and join his friends down the river.:)

Hello my friends. It's Wednesday, hump day; it's all down hill from here. I hope it's a great one for you!

I did very little pp work here. I tightened up my tripod, turned off the VR, and manually focused. I really think I missed an opportunity to post a better photo. From work it appears to need a light adjustment, and a tad sharpening.

Question: Is there a way to select the stationary objects to sharpen just that section?

Hi Dennis

A good time exposure, with excellent motion blur on the water. Good sharpness elsewhere, with a nice diffused light, & natural looking pastel colours. Effective tight framing, & tfs!

Hi Dennis,
Your composition is exquisite, superb freezing effect on the water. But somehow, I suspect sharpness was compromised during uploading. I made a WS...hope you don't mind. Cheers
Danilo

Hi Dennis,

Interesting composition, and the water flow is nicely smoothed. Danilo makes a good point, after you resize the photo it's always best to sharpen and/or use the unsharp mask. TFS, we're halfway there!

Best regards,
Werner

The long exposure works so finely! Il ike much this play with warm and cold colors,
About the sharpness, Photo Filter is a good and easy logicial to do some corrections. I use it often!
I propose you a WS!

Hi Dennis,
I love the natural mood in this. The fg broken branch and brown leaves really add details to the photo. Nice color tones and well framed. good job! TFS Julie
