| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| A rare mid summer foggy morning found me out and about with the sunrise. Driving back towards home and I saw a sight I'd not seen before. The mist had coated spiderwebs with droplets of water and the morning sun was at the perfect angle to make them glow. While I've seen webs in the mist before I'd never seen the profusion of webs that were illuminated along this short stretch of tree lined ditch. There were literally hundreds of webs shining in the sun and I obviously stopped and captured numerous images. The angle I needed though did present difficulties as I had to shoot towards the sun. I fought lens flare the whole time and I don't feel like I did the scene justice but this photograph should give you an inkling of the profusion of webs. |
