[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While my hope on this evening was to capture a sunset after 15 straight days of overcast skys, I was initially disappointed to see this massive weather system making its way across the western sky. However, I think this turned out to be a more interesting shot than my original goal.

I used a combination of dodging, burning, and level adjustments to bring out the texture in the clouds. I also turned the saturation up a few notches.

Thanks for viewing!

great shot! it is a unusuall view of a strom. i oike the shadow in the sea.

Hi Steven,

Wonderful colours! I like the 'shadow - light' game...
Simple but beautifully presented composition!
Congratulations!

How wonderful. I love this shot. You almost have a Ying-Yang. Beautiful color and light. Well done and excellent capture.

This is one amazing photograph of this incoming storm ! The differences in light, even in the water, is beautiful.

Thanks for sharing this beauty with us.

Interesting photo. The duel between the shades and the light is powerful. Cheer for PP, it is very natural! Annie

often the best pictures come when you're expecting or hoping for something else :-) this is a great capture Steven.. i love the composition with that wonderful arc of weather coming in over the tranquil waters and the colours throughout are beautiful..
