[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Recent picture I took at a local sanctuary. I've put the "matting" on the back of the picture. Not really sure if I am fond of framing a picture... so this is an attempt. Comments welcomed.

Hi Wentzel,
The colours of the photo itself is nice. Detail is quite good too. You said comments welcomed...So here goes- I dont think the frame does your photo any favours. I always found that (if a photo must be framed) the simpler the better. though I am sure others will disagree.
As for composition I would suggest a tighter crop. In fact I'll try a workshop for you.
Well done all the same, as insets arn't the easiest subject in the world,
Jako

Cool pic! I've tried to shoot lots of butterflies but I've yet to get a picture that pleases me. They won't be still long enough for me.
This shot is well lit and the colors are great. Your DoF diffuses the background nicely and draws attention to the butterfly and flower. I like the frame style and size but not the color of it. It just seems a little too loud (demanding too much attention.)
I like frames and use them often but this photo could probably stand on its own. Good job!
Terry

Hai Wentzel,
Very good picture but,ass you said, I also don,t like the frame, it is to much, sorry,
