Hello All

I took this image at Port Huron, Michigan. The Lighthouse is fenced and hard to get to. I took the image from the best vantage point that I could. And as always, I turned the image into something nice. used cp filter, and added lens flare for effect. Thanks for looking

I'm not often a fan of lens flare but in this case it adds substantially to the shot - the dramatic effect lifts the image and gives it character.

Hi Jimmy,
I am a fan of the lighthouses photo. There are many ones in my area, and they make always a such good subject.
I like your interpretation here! The addition of the lens flare works nicely enhancing the ambience. Very good soft light on the sky and good play of shadows on the tower.

JimmyJ: Great shot and great use of the filter for the added effect! I also really liked the "subscription" at the bottom of the frame! John was one of my favorite guys. I've read a lot of him, so I recognize this particular part of his book. Great post!
