My undergraduate college degree is in athletic training (sports medicine) from Winona State University in southestern Minnesota. During my senior year (last year) I was the head student athletic trainer for the women's soccer team.
I miss working with the team as I am not graduated and in chiropractic school in the Twin Cities. However, last weekend I was able to catch a game since they were playing Concordia University near where I am now living. The game was great (they won 1-0) and I catch up a little with the team and athletic training staff.
This is my favorite shot from the game that I captured. It's a perfect display of grace and power in my opinion right before the ball was kicked.
Adjusted levels, cropped, and added frame in PS7. Thanks for looking; critiques and comments always welcome. |

Great sports capture, the focus and white balance are right on. Good choice of shutter speed to 'freeze' the action... and way to capture the facial expression.
