Wave tank at the St. Paul Science Museum. I watched the duckie, the wave and the watchers to catch the moment at the crest of the wave and at last got it.

Taken with ambient light, ISO 800. I removed a distracting black valve from the pillar with PhotoShop Elements and cropped to improve composition

I like very much the unusual compo.... the wave seems to go through the image dancing.....
well done
Paolo

Nice shot, Lois! It's a very interesting picture because when I look at the right of the person, I have the impression that the water flows between the person and the glass wall! Nice subdued light and good composition. Great job!

I like the compo... It makes me think of a japenese drawing ;D
Very well captured

Very interesting composition, Lois, with the person in between the two waves; it really feels like the person will get wet soon. Nice subsued colours in this picture with the little yellow of the duck adding a touch of colours. I like your elongated format. Well done!
