Silhouettes against the Capitol Building
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
We were on a photo safari to St Paul museums and stopped at the Minnesota History Center to see the Pulizer Prize Winners. The window at the end of the hall outside the exhibit caught my eye and I recorded this scene of people looking out at the Minnesota State Capitol Building rather than in at the wonders of photography.
Only change is the crop to clean up the composition, otherwise as it came from the camera |

This is a good shot Lois. The shadows of the body and the lines complement each other. I like the subtle colors from the outside, very classy. Maybe you can tilt the picture a little to the left so you can straigthen-up the horizontal lines.
Hi! Lois,
I love silhouettes of human figures and had to do a WS of this. The great thing here is the natural tonality of the building in the background with the cut out images in the foreground.
Well seen and exposed for.
Mike.
Great capture, Lois !!!
Nice use of silhouettes ... against the light and the view on the Capitol building.
