Invention at Play at the St Paul Science Museum was all about gears and pulleys and levers with things to do and whatsits to build. It would have made Archimedes and Newton happy and it definitely was going to entertain this little one. It even entertained me. The kinetic sculpture photo earlier in this travelogue was part of this exhibit.

ISO 1800 as it came from the camera.

Lois - I have made a very clumsy attempt on a WS. While your original shows the environment, which isn't a bad thing at all, I felt drawn to simplifying it by removing surrounding distractions, even a little cloning, which I am more than useless at.
Can you imagine or would you like to see?
