[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This little girl was investigating the properities of a pendulum with a string tied to a peg. Place is (again) the St Paul Science Museum, the area for hands-on-science. She was stopping the pendulum's swing with a pencil, apparently fascinated when the string wrapped around the pencil, physics at work.

Taken at ISO 1800 in ambient light, cropped to remove distracting elements, and a small amount of cloning on the background also to blur distracting elements.
