[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the first of three posts from my favorite place to eat in Winona, MN called the Acoustic Cafe. After eating lunch there a few weekends ago while visiting the town, I stopped to read some of the things people had posted on the message board on my way out the door. This was the first one that caught my eye. It is a from a guy looking for love. I was impressed that the he had the guts to post something like this in a public place (I know I never would). An interesting read; look for the other two messages in the next two days if interested.

Adjusted levels, contrast, and added black frame in PS7. Comments, critiques, and workshops always welcome; thanks for looking.

Hi, Jeff,
This is an interesting one. Probably the guy needs company, who knows. There could be different possibilities.
About the photo - good colours, good use of light, nice point of view. It only looks a bit tilted, but that's fine.
Regards, Evgenia

Hi,
It is interesting and nice shot. I wish you wouldn't cut the note's end. 8:)
I like it.
Tfs.
Mihriban

The handwriting doesn't look like that of a man to me. Maybe a friend wrote it for him? His sister or his mother (trying to get him to move out of the house finally?) It's very interesting though. Especially these days when this kind of searching is mostly done on line. Good thinking to document it with your photo. (I might have tweaked this one with just a little sharpening, since text is involved.) Thanks for sharing. -Hugh

And nobody has taken his phone number. Very sad..
It might be me screen but it seems to lack a little sharpness.
Well seen, Jeff!
All the best / Eric

Hi Jeff,
Interesting capyure that really makes you think. Judging by how much the tear-off pieces havefolded I'd say it's been there quite some time, yet no one seems to take notice. I think I would have used a portrait orientation though, to fill the frame more with the main subject.
Anyways still a cool shot,
Well done,
Jako
