[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It's been a while since I picked up my camera with intention and an even longer while since I have posted anything thanks to chiropractic school.

A few weekends ago I was visiting my old college town of Winona, MN on my way to a wedding the next day when 30 inches of snow fell from the sky in just 2 days. Needless to say I didn't make it to the wedding.

Instead I spent the weekend hangning out with my old roommate and enjoying my favorite eatery in town, the Acoustic Cafe (I have posted other shots from here in the past).

This is what was left of my sandwich and drink while I watched the snow fall. Just one of those nights your glad to be able to enjoy the wonders of the world. Stay warm, spring is almost here.

Shot handheld in macro mode without flash. Ajusted levels and contrast slighlty and added white frame in PS7. Comments, critiques and workshops always appreciated; thanks for looking.

I like it, I like it a lot! I think the only thing is that you probably could have gone easy on the lighting because you can see the glare on the table.
I like it in black and white, it looks really relaxing and cozy.

Nicely seen & done, especially hand held!

Cappuccino?

I'm a barista at a little Italian Cafe, so I'm the one who has to clear these scenes. ;) I've often wanted to photograph the freshly made espresso shots in the tiny cups, but it's usually to busy to even consider bringing my camera to work.

Very nice image, the B/W serves the scene well. I like the varying textures... the left over foam, the grain on the wooden table, the roughness of the napkins etc... very nice image, and the frame finishes them image very nicely. TFS.

Biance.
