| a bellanca 260 cruisemaster; ferrari of the air in the 1950's! the plane's designer was guiseppe bellanca, well known for advanced aircraft designs. the tail end board was a noteable design feature of the cruisemaster. earlier cruisemasters were tail draggers, later versions had nose gear, as does this one. from the 1950's until today bellancas have been built in alexandria, minnesota. |
