Hi Vandana, normal honey bees I can get easily, the bumble bees here do not sit still for long enough. Bumble bees are usually not at all interested in stinging like the normal bee is just take your time and move carefully among them. An excellent shot, good colour and nice detail. TFS,

Best to not get too close to these! Their stings are like getting hit with a baseball bat! Nice shot, could be a little sharper...aahhh but with time, you will be 100 closer to him with no fear! Bees won't sting you if you are relaxed..and even then...unless you are aggressive, they will leave you alone!

You have to be proud not only with your camera, but by your good skill - I know bumble bees are difficult (as busy as bees:-) but your capture is veeery good, for sure. Your ws is from a slightly better pov, I think.

Hello Vandana,
Those guys are difficult since they move so fast! You do well here, both flower and insect come with pleasant sharpness in the focal area...
What is possible to improve is the pose of the insect, more streched out! Since they don't take directions well, it is all about shooting again and again and again!

buzz, buzz, buzz goes the bumble-bee...*g*
great close-up, well composed with the nice bb. hanging on to the pretty flower,
sharpness could be a tiny bit better, but for
a first try it´s very good - next stop macro-lens? *g* that´s even more fun and closer.
if the object is not moving too fast, you can even try f/11 or f/16 for a greater DOF
and maybe use a flash (if you didn´t).
