Its a famous sentence in wintertime, during the speedskating cames. It became very populair, as written on caps and on a TV commercial.

Almost..... just one more day or so...

It really sounds as if you are already having so much fun Vandana! Well... I know myself, I can't hardly wait to go if I'm going to have a vacation.

Sad news is, that I won't be joyning you.
There is too much work at the moment and I just cannot take the day off... heck I even think I will be working my days off in the next couple of weeks (usually I have Wednesdays off... but not now)...
I wanna wish you and all the others a wonderful stay in Holland... And don't forget to ask John to make a short stop in Hoorn, coz that is really a very nice place with an old harbour and old wooden ships!

A real wonderful entry here Vandana... Some great roses. Beautiful colors and sharpness and a very good composition.

Very nice orange hues in these flowers, Vandana. Well composed, colours are perfectly saturated.
Mmm... I wouldn't recommend saying some of the expressions John taught you. For instance, don't say "vals loeder" to the air-hostesses ;o));

Absolutely spot-on Vandana - orange - you could not do better!
I hope you got the translations when receiving those expressions because "vals loeder" really is not a nice thing to say, so you better forget that one.
As for discovering Holland: well - you are going to!
