Cool fireworks, I always get my fireworks wrong, and just end up madly clicking away (see some of my abstract ones), but I love a good firework shot.
This captures the full explosion nicely, well done.

Hi Derrick
Nice capture, really difficult to achieve as you never know when to shoot
Best wishes
Argiris
Hi Derick,
Shooting fireworks takes a lot of PRACTICE. Just a helpful tip, release the shutter just before the whole fireworks blossom. With your low shutter speed setting will capture the perfect flare, but don't forget to make use of your tripod to avoid noise.
In this picture, you did well enough to catch the patter. Cropping it on both sides will do the trick!
Keep on clicking! TFS, Donnie
Nice one, Derrick! I have horrible luck capturing fireworks but this one is great.
Sorry about you being in Nebraska, you have missed a fabulous and rare Southern snow...
