Hello Larry, what a fabulous shot,a perfect window for the theme.
It wasn't until I opened up the thumbnail that I realised that there were three little squirrel faces to view.

you lucky, lucky son-of-a-gun.
we have grey squirrels in scotland and very few reds.

i have never seen one in scotland and i am 46 years old.
you, on the other hand, have 3 sprouting out of a tree across from your office. i am jealous.

your capture is stunning. not only the squirrels but the texture of the tree bark.

'if a tree has a bark, then why can't i hear it?'

This is a smashing shot! You have captured these beautiful little fellows/girls very well indeed, just as they are peeking out of their home.

Unfortunately, in Britain the population of native red squirrels is declining as stronger grey squirrels overtake their habitat.
