Nobody is perfect, so should we only photograph what the world things is perfect? I think many people on here might have tried to PhotoShop the "imperfectness" from the wing, which makes what we ultimately see different from what was actually there. I want to see what you saw, and this does that. Glad you decided not to discard.

if only the head is sharper.. when i first posted butterfly shot that was the comment i got.. i thought that time i got it right i was wrong.. your butterfly will be a perfect shot if the head is clear too.. but im sure in time you will get it right :)

i like your butterfly with broken wings.. that's normal in the butterfly kingdom and circle of their life.. so no worry.. good thing you did not discarded this shot.. its a beautiful colourful butterfly perched on a beautiful yellow flower.. excellent composition and colours.. good job..
