Hello, Bill -
This is a great image - I really like your choice to do a straightforward, centered symmetrical approach. The light is great and shows the contours of the horse's flanks. Good DOF with sharpness on the head and sides, the background is smoothly blurred. Warm natural tones. Well done.

This is a beauty alright. I do agree with messenger1 about your choice of shooting in such a straightforward way. He looks quite aware and attentive to what is going on.

Good focus, right exposure and nice low key light. Good monochromatic colors, nice complementory background which frame the animal perfectly. I would had increse the black a touch more tho...using the selective color tool. Just a matter of individuel taste..))) Nice job.
