This weekend, #3-ranked University of Maine and #4-ranked University of North Dakota got together in the Palace on the Prairie, or otherwise known as the Ralph Engelstad Arena, on the UND campus in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Division I hockey at its finest.
UND got swept by the Black Bears, scoring only two goals over the weekend to Maine's nine. But anyone who knows hockey knows that when a team is losing, they do not go down without a fight.
Here, T.J. Oshie of the Fighting Sioux slams Maine's Simon Danis-Pepin over the boards, during some intense third-period play on Saturday night.

Nice catch of the action. Some intersting expressions in the back ground. TFS
this is an AWESOME sports capture not only for the hit but for the expressions on the faces of the people around...i especially like the guy trying to protect himself and the look on #31s face...i think i would call this the "decisive moment"...peace***
