We had a winter storm yesterday with a prediction of 12-18" of accumulation - that's a lot for this part of the country. Donated blood yesterday and had some difficulty climbing the hills with a rear wheel drive pickup. Am home on holiday and plan not to take any unnecessary trips.
The snow was falling heavily when this shot was taken. Cropped, increased contrast and saturation, cloned out a power line and a blob of moisture over one of the bushes, and applied a fresco filter. You can see soft areas caused by the blowing snowfall on the lens filter. |

At first impression i was shure you make it B&W with a red touch on the christmass crown... Till a saw other small detals of color on the chemenee, letterfence on the door & few others. It's interesting shot.
On dirait plein de petits diamants, beau travail bien réussi! Bravo!
this would make a great christmas card! it's so picturesque and serene. i like the details and the red standing out against the background.hope you are feeling better and enjoy the holidays:)
This looks like my dreamhouse. The snowy christmassy feeling is all there, but I really dont like the fresco filter. Sorry. I can imagine the original photo is better.
