Great composition and shadow. And the ornament formed of duck's foot prints... imagine - bride walking through the aisle and the veil as long as the aisle.. :)

Great composition. I love the 'foot' prints of his passage, and the shadow. And the frame does it good too. From the shine of the ice covered lake to the determined looking duck, is great.

You realize a diagonal from the upper left to the bottom right, using the footprint, the dug and the shadow ! all in the same direction. Is it by chance or have you noticed that before shooting ?

Wow! Very good! Perfect framing to see footprints & shadow. I'm surprise by the way he walk. The footprints looks more like kind of caligraphy, then very defined contour of a palmed foot! That's cool!

This one goes to my favourites instantly, Greg. What a shot... excellent composition though I'd have cropped a bit more from the bottom to make the shade end in the lr corner. I don't like the black inner frame neither. But who cares, your subject is fantastic. The way the duck lifts its paw... You captured that perfectly. TFS, TFS².

Poor little duck! He looks so sad, yet determined. I hope you had some bread for him. He needs to come down south to stay warm.

I love the pattern that his web feet make on the snow. You can see the "waddle in his walk". Nicely Done, Lisa

now I'm going to worry about all of those ducks on frozen lakes.
