[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On New Year's Day, a warm spell started melting the heavy snow we received over the holidays. While shooting the fog scenes at a local park, I noticed a gull swooping into the fog near the lake surface, but couldn't see where it was landing. I walked down to the water's edge, but still couldn't see anything. Was about to leave when a very small breeze cleared the scene momentarily and I was able to shoot at the extreme range of the zoom. Note the reflection of the gulls in the meltwater on the ice in the center of the lake.

That so beautiful fog, the gray tones well are defined, each line sample you hoist, air, gulls, and water. And the reflection was at the exact moment. Bravo.

the mirrored image of the birds on the ice is perfect. the placement of the birds in the shot, combined with the empty background really make this an overall nice composition.
