If you have a problem with insects, this may not be your cup of tea. You are looking at a walking stick from New Guinea. The males have elongated spines on their legs that can deliver a nasty cut to humans. This is a female.

Oh my god, I would die if this thing was on me! she is a whooper!!...I hope I never come face to face with something like this!...

Good photo, but I think the focus needs to be more on the insect rather than the fingers.. but in this situation.. whos looking!!..click and stand back!! :-)
