[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Shooting at first light at a B&B in Ohio. went first to try to capture the fog on the water, but ended up with this after some "play". 28mm lens. Used "camera" flash on top of camera which gave just enough light to make Blue Spruce pop a little. Used -1 exposure on camera to keep sky color. Still had enough sky to light the lake a little. Very little post process, just some sharpening and some manual "level" work in Photoshop to keep sky from blowing out.

Wow Norman, nice pic here... What a difference with the spruce popping! Love it...

Mike

very nice capture, and color

This one, I had been waiting for. If it were mine, it would be on the family Christmas card this year! The way you got the spruce to "pop", it almost looks like a dusting of snow. A surrealistic shot!

Hello Norman !

Spectacular result . At first sight , I thought the pine was covered with snow (^_^). I am relieved !!!! It surely can wait a few months !

Lovely composition and blend of cold and warm colors.
Well done,
Robert
