[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken at the Presidential Gallery of the National Museum of the United States Air Force near Dayton, Ohio. It's a special hangar where they keep historic Presidential and experimental/test aircraft several of which you can walk through (including the plane that took JFK's body back to Washington, DC and on which LBJ was sworn in as President). This particular aircraft is a Douglas VC-54C "Sacred Cow" which was FDR's Presidential plane. You can walk through it and this was taken from the exit of the plane looking at the hangar door. I thought it turned out pretty well. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Hi Matthew,

I like it too! All of the repetitive lines, angles, and shapes, and of course the plane, ready to leave at a moment's notice. Nice blue tones throughout. Makes an interesting modern photo!

thanks for sharing, Lisa

Great pale blue tones Matthew, and wonderful composition! Congrats,

Hi Matthew,

Great shot, very abstract, love the different textures, smooth skin and hard metal....very well seen. Good note too. Well done and welcome to TL,

TFS, keep em coming,

John

Hello Matthew,

Nice light and the pattern of the hangar doors reflecting on the wings. I like the tight compo with one side of the plane. Nice.

Greetings,
Dennis
