[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This eastern tiger swallowtail butterfly wasn't so quick to get away as the other had been a few days ago. This one is dining on a butterfly bush (buddleia davidii) in my mother's yard.

I took this one with my Minolta DiMAGE A1, a real workhorse and so nice with the image stabilization. I love the macro capability of this camera. I was zoomed all the way in, using the macro while on portrait mode for a shallow depth of field. Hand-held, no flash. Edited in Irfanview, where I only cropped and sharpened, then added the border using the canvas size tool.
