| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The M/V american republic backing out of the Cuyahoga River part way. The most maneuverable ship has no problem backing out of tight places, being as the rear part of the pilot house has a seperate set of windows, with a control station for the captain and a stearing pole, so he has no problem seeing where he is going. Note how the aft superstructure is built, to have nothing get in the way of looking out the pilot house windows from both sides. Also, the smoke stacks, are very small, and they are on either side of the pilot house, you cant see them from this angle. |
