[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The M/V American Republic making its first trip up Clevelands Cuyahoga Riverafter a week. This ship makes about 100 trips a year up and down this river, and is a real workhorse. It is passing under the Veterans Memorial Bridge in cleveland, in about another 2 hours the ship will be docked and unloading Taconite pellets at Mittal Steel. This was the afternoon before a huge storm swept through cleveland, and it rained so hard the ship was stuck at the Steel mill for repairs, but has to wait another 10 hours afterwards because the river was 5 feet above flood stage with a current of about 5 mph if i can remember right, no to mention whole trees were floating down the river past the ship

Hello Sam!

The river down here is also 2 m above chart-datum! Quite unusual for this time of the year. We had so much rain lately... The bridge seems to be a double-decker here.

Nice architecture reminding a bit the Sidney bridge but smller (^_^).
Cheers!
Robert
