Hello TL friends, hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I shot this little mushroom yesterday evening. For some reason I always wanted to shoot these maybe it's because they're so small and somewhat pretty. I dont know anyway here it is.

For this I used my 55-200mm lens with a focal length of 55mm. I used a promaster +4 close up macro filter to get as close as possible. In PP I adjusted the contrast, framed and resized. I hope you like this mushroom shot and as always thanks for viewing.
Have a good weekend.

Regards,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

i love shooting mushrooms and have collections of mushroom images. the only problem is that too much distractions around them like grass, twigs, dead woods etc which is actually a mushroom 'habitat'.

about this image i think it's slightly yellowish or greenish or perhaps my eyes are tired....;)

but it's still a nice shot. well done.

TFS
regards
Agoes

Hi Kevin,

You efforts here really paid off. You've got a really good capture here with nice BG bokeh. I do feel that the top of the mushroom might be just a tad over-exposed. I'm not so sure with the frame for this photo though. Somehow it doesn't do justice to the photo.

TFS.

Regards,
Alvin

Hi Kevin,
Nice macro picture, beautiful colors and sharp picture, nice presentation and composition,
very well done.

Hi Kevin,
This is a lovely isolation of the slightly off centered mushroom under its natural environ. The uncluttered background is effective in enhancing the focus on the subject. Best regards, Danilo

Nicely composed shot Kevin.
You chose the DOF just right.
Great natural colors.
Well done.

Hello Kevin,
Fantastic composition and I love the low angle. Great DOF in the grass which really isolates the mushroom. Very sharp, well done!

Hi Kevin,
Lovely capture of this wild summer fungus seen in brilliant colors and details with a lovely muted green background.
A Little joke a mushroom comes in a bar sits down next to a beautiful blonde and says hey baby what's up to which she quips what makes you think I would want anything to do with you to which he quickly replies because I'm a Fun-gi!!!
Regards, Tom

Excellent! Good POV, DOF, composition, contrasts, etc...you nailed it:) Wonderful detail and just the right amount of blurred area to focus on the subject comfortably. I like the offset framing also, allowing extra space for the drop shadow. Well done.

Hi Kevin,

It's something that I want to capture . . but can't find it. .
So I bought at supermarket and then I put it between grass . . but looks ugly, coz it's not natural . .
You did great my friend . .
I like the low level of angle in capturing it . .

Tfs,

Hi Kevin, i like the use of the deep depth of field and the shutter speed of 1/20, as well as the use of that filer, to get the end result. Creative photography and a good lesson on how to get this kind of shot. Those details do interest me and i dont see many people sharing or using such techniques.

hello Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Lovely close up with nice details and a good diffused background.

Hello Kevin. Your macro adapter did a fine job here. I like the sharpness and detail exposure of the image and the subject is well positioned in the frame. The silenced background is really pleasing. Thanks for sharing and best regards to you and your family. Jusni

Hi Kevin,
A shot of a mushroom, taken with dSLR is something interesting. Getting very low and dirty are surely part of the process. :) You made a very good photo of it Kevin. Love the clarity and dof here.

Ramdan

Great details here Kevin. Excellent shot.

The tight composition on this one really makes it superb.
We are seeing a lot of those growing around here too right now -- I will be posting one or two in the near future, with one headed for TN as well :)
