Goldfinches dining on Niger thistle seed. This is an up-side down feeder. They are adept at hanging up-side down & feeding. Note there are two sharing one perch on the left & the one on the right is sharing with one on a higher perch, probably one of it's young. Also note the odd angle of it's right leg & foot, this shows how their feet can grip. Shot in raw, PP in PSE 6. I removed the background & filled with the blue, did some lighting adj., unsharp mask, & used a filter called re-dynamix, added the white frame with a drop shadow.
