[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As late afternoon fades, the ponds at Apple Creek, bathed in the last beams opposite the setting sun, have a warmth all their own, even in the dead of winter.

a fantastic winter scene. the sun is very effective as it shines on the trees. really nice blue sky and the detail is good. very good angle this is and the setting is really nice to look at. great photo.

excellent postcard. Like your frame but perhaps a bit too intrusive. Alfred

I love the lighting - good capture. I just noticed the family of ducks in the bottom left...great details here, so much to look at.

Hello Jim !

Lovely late afternoon light well captured . The image is well composed with the curved shore of the creek.
Well done.

Framing is indeed a personnal taste, as I often mentioned. IMHO , following some experience publishing, most of the time a simple black or white frame is enough to enhance the beauty of a photo. A thin black or white line or even colored line or shadow are making a great job to add a 3-D effect.

Here a Black frame with a thin reddish line could have worked fine. But again it is just my opinion.

Cheers!
Just a thought.

This is really pretty. I like the red frame and how it brings out the red sunlight on the snow.
I'd hang it in my living room. It's one of those relaxing scenes.
