| Tonight, in a lull between snow storms, I set aside the cold, the length of the winter, the weariness of shoveling. You only need to take a look at a home and trees frosted and graced with a fresh coat of snow to recall the beauty and variety that winter can bring to even the routine daily scenes of life. When I took this about a month ago, it was a morning just like today's where the landscape was fresh and unspoilt after an overnight snowfall. |

A superb contribution to the theme. Too bad it is so underrated. The blue cast is typical of our winter days. Perhaps it could have been corrected a bit. Nevertheless, a superb composition.
The home owner would be pretty honored to see his house on on a stamp !
