[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Perhaps it's mere coincidence that this robin chose to pause and pose on a walkway with this particular color scheme. But then again...perhaps not.

Maybe he was hiding. Sweet shot and TFS

Hi Jim! Very good idea for a shot with excellent balance and composition, with those staggered, perpendicular bricks in the floor running diagonally through the shot, leading the eye to the robin. It really is color coordinated, and I think I can see a bit of a model pose coming from the bird ;). Excellent lighting used to make that wonderful shadow stretching behind the robin, although I find that maybe the right side of the robin's body is a little lost in the background of bricks, which are not just the same color, but the same tonality. Good focus and detail, though I can tell you had to crop a lot for this, or zoom in a lot. Wonderful POV though looking down a bit at the robin to get the brick as the whole background. Excellent shot that's unique and has lots of character. TFS!
