Well, about as mature as cherries get, anyway, at this point of the year, when October is near ending. Their red succulence is an appealing counterpoint to their changing leaves. My own "mature" view is that these might be particularly well-suited for a destiny atop a hot fudge sundae.

Aha! And here you as well....Cherries are GREAT for gout if one starts eating them in time and gets fresh. I happen to have a gout problem from time to time and cherries work..maybe it is important for me to be in a state such as Washington where cherries grow in abundance. Nice image...very soothing:-)
