[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was meandering down a farm country road the other night near sunset, and this scene caught my eye. I can't say exactly why, just a certain sense of charm. Only one pass of sharpening, rather than my usual two, and no other PP. Leaving a little bit of softness seems to complement the feeling of the twilight.

Yeah...and then there is snow...just in case anyone gets bored...like me because of you know, the storm and all that. I notice we here in the Pacific NW do not get much attention on national news...well.. take my word for it..I can sympathize with you and your "wonderful" picture!

Hi Jim,
A winter landscape with full of beautiful pastel nuances! I like this hour of the day when the sun goes down on the tip-toes mixing subtlety its colors. Here, all details are well rendered. So quiet and serene mood. Really beautifully done! Annie

Hi Jim,
My favorite winter shots always have these "warm" colors--the pinks and a hint of yellow. Good eye, and the softness does work well here. The meandering paid off--we should always leave time for it.
Great day,
Karen

Love the mood and creative composition here and this deserves far more attention that it has got! I think the light is fabulous and you have done a fine job capturing it in its full evening glory! Awesome work and two thumbs up!

Dilshan
