[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
When the last big snow came March 8, I was hoping it would be THE LAST. For once, it was warm and light enough after shoveling a pair of driveways to grab the camera and record that all-too-brief span when snow adds a special magic to trees and buildings. Snow up to the mailboxes; March in like a lion -- wasn't it enough, a coda to a long, hard winter? Turns out, maybe not: The weather guys are predicting 5 to 8 inches tomorrow night. So much for that robin I photographed this morning! Spring is a tenuous visitor in a Wisconsin March.

Nice perspective Jim with the long lens - good control of light and shade.

Maybe I'd have cloned out the mailboxes at the front there but this shows a beautiful winter blanket..

I've not been to Wisconsin - think I'll save it for summer time..

Cheers
David

Hi Jim !
Very beautiful image, well done.
A splendid landscape.
Have a nice weekend,
Adrian

Jim, after spending two years and winters in Wisconsin I totally agree with your last statement that Spring is a tenuous visitor in March. Where in Wisconsin was this beautiful snow photo taken? Just curious.
