Good your idea to divide the frame in four parts.
In the foreground the gate serves so to serve as scene. The colors of the leaves are delicate because of a good exposure and of a beautiful light.

Hi Otto,
I like the autumn colours... Unfortunately, the weather in The Hague is too wet and the leafs use to fall down to fast for me to have this kind of trees with a great colourful picture.
If I can criticize a bit, if you do left rotate a little bit the picture it will be perfect.
