[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
American Goldfinch, aka Eastern Goldfinch & Wild Canary. They are migratory birds but I usually have some all year. One of the funest birds to watch eat since they can hang up-side down to eat. I use an up-side down thistle feeder. This one still has some of it's yellow summer color. Photo shot in late afternoon sun & cropped, PP in PSE 6.

Thanks much to all who view or critique! Hope you enjoy! :} Don

Nice shot Donald, I like the soft blurred BG done by your long lens. Sharp and nice colors. Well captured!

Hi Donald,
I noticed my critique did not show up so I must have hit a wrong button. This is such a pretty post. I love your lighting and strong details. The colors of this finch are beautiful. Nice blurred bg really works well. Thanks for sharing this. Julie
