[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I’m not an expert on any subject, but I’m thinking this is a mature female European Black Pine cone. The female releases the seeds when the cone opens, as in this photo. I feel I’ve been released into another world….the world of photography, and I couldn’t be happier about it. I had all but given up, until Werner gave me a pep talk. Since that talk, I’ve posted my best work, IMO. I like symbolic references, but I’m not implying that Werner is a female pine cone. ;)

Thank Werner!

Tuesday….not too crazy about Tuesdays either, but I hope it’s a great one for you!

Hi Dennis
You are certainly teaching me something with this note, today I learned something new. So thank you. I like how you captured this pine cone.

We all have days where we are down and what better way to change it than to share your photos and get a boost from your friends, and no Werner is definitely not a pine cone, hahaha.
Dot

Hey Dennis,

I'm more of a pine nut ;))

I like your off-center presentation of the pine cone, and I too have learned something today. The backlighting and pine needles add a nice touch to the composition. Sharpness is very good and the diagonal branch is well captured.

Hope you're having a good day!

TFS,
Werner

Hi Dennis,
Very different perspective with the needles in the fg. Nice color tones - and the offcentered works here. TFS Julie
