Portland Head Light at Dawn
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Dawn comes early to Maine (since it's on the extreme eastern edge of the timezone.) I was out at the light at 5 AM to get this shot, and will probably go back again to get out on the rocks for a lower angle photo. Since the shoreline isn't straight through the frame I decided to make photoshop do the neutral density filtering, which worked well, considering the backlit situation. |

Nicely done. Very well composed. I like lighthouses, and this one is a beaut!
I do not know which one I like better, if the one with the fog or this one. Both have different beauty. Excellent shot.

Mical :)
Good capture Eric.I like the light shining on the rocks, it shows us just enough to be able to see the beach and the surrounding area. The composition is good, the lighthouse out at sea balances the one in the f/g.
TFS, regards Jean.
This is postcard perfect Eric! Excellent composition! TFS

Beautiful shot, Eric. These don't happen by accident, either - you were up early, with an artist's eye.
