Lovely spot this place ... I like places with vast open views ... I guess us city dwellers long for this kind of open living. This place must have a National Heritage status? The snow in the ground gave perspective to the season. Well captured and composed with good resulting image quality. Well done! tfs and have a nice weekend.

Hi Tom,
great capture of this lighthouse. The P.O.V., color and details are excellent. I have not actually seen a lighthouse before only in pistures. Yours is one of the best I've seen.

Wow! Finally!!

Some friends of mine took me here years ago, but I didn't write where it was in my travel journal and I was unable to remember after that. But this is the place - I recognise it!

Superb scene, I like the beautiful red lighthouse under the blue sky. Good light, excellent DOF. I think this kind of lighthouses are typical for Maine...

Hello Tom,

It looks to be such a perfect day that the sight of snow seems incongruous!

The images are crisp and naturally coloured.(I never noticed the hallo until I read Sweety's note; it is very insignificant.)
There are lots of interesting details for us to compare and contrast with our own locations and the light is fantastic.

we took the lighthouse route in Nova Scotia and enjoyed it a lot.
this shot of the lighthouse is great.
wonderful composition and great clarity of details including some snow. beautiful colors and nicely framed.

A "nice crisp" but warm image! This lighhouse never ceases to amazes me with its beauty especially when it's reproduced so mastefully like here. The contrast betweeen the red of the tiles and the blue of the sky is stunning.
