[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this old cruiser rusting by a wall in Portland. I desaturated it to give it that old-time-photo feel. It seems to have worked. Let me know if something else might have worked better.

It does work very well, you could also try black and white and add a little sepia tint to give a real aged look, well captured.

Well seen Eric, a simple subject perhaps would appear better in B&W to convey the ambiance ,the moody appearance of an ageing bike. I prepared a little workshop of it ,for fun ,just my way of seeing ,thanks and tfs,

Good composition, good eye to spot this great subject. I agree that the desaturation provided a nice, subtle antique effect. To really go for a stronger antique look, b&w or sepia might have given it an interesting feel, but I like your approach. Well done.

Hi Eric,
The owner must think this old bike is worth locking to the fence. Nice clear view of this tall rider with its chrome fenders bubbled frame. I'll bet that old basket has brought home many a loaf of bread.
Wonderful antique feel with the green and lovely old stone walk.
