The Bell Tower
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I have been wanting to shoot the Husson bell tower for quite some time, but things never seemed to work out.
I am QUITE scared of High ISO's, especially n my Maxxum 5D, so I have been waiting to get a tripod and one of the school's 20D's to do this. Then the opportunity hit, and I had to do it... I shot at 1600... Goodness...
I originally started shooting at 3200 because I had my polarizer on from earlier and didn't realize it, then, when I got it off, I went down to 1600. All in all, its just a sunset, nothing more.
I probably should have got it a bit earlier, the sky is getting dark, and I tried a slightly longer exposure, but I blew the snow out. So this is the best of the set.
All hand held. In camera stabilization...
I like it.
Did some noise reduction in CS3. Strength at 7, Color at 85% and Sharpening at 85%.
I didn't realize until I did this, just how many hot pixels I had... Gah! A bit a healing brush to fix them and all is well.... |
